Atomic physics questions

An atom has proton and equal neutrons about and electrons! Why is a question you get answer only if you give careers to physicists..

Could it be that in a neutron the electron escapes and comes back with just enough time for one proton to be attracted nearby through such nuclear forces..

and this is quantum field theory and quantum electrodynamics
